The Event

Socrates once said, "My advice to you is get married: if you find a good wife you'll be happy; if not, you'll become a philosopher.". Given the fact that he was married to Xanthippe with three sons and he is considered the father of western philosophy, Bivas does feel excited about the marriage - philosophically, for him, it is a win-win situation.

However, about all the religious deeds, its a different story for Bivas. Wish he could say he had a similar feeling, but being an agnostic atheist its hard for him to follow said-believe hocus-pocus from heart. Then again, men in love are known to do extraordinary things beyond measure for their counterpart, and here it's a matter of that, plus two deeply involved families, so he agreed to call it a momentary lapse of reason and signed up for the event!

As for Shubhra, the wedding is a once in a lifetime ceremony, and she does not want to miss a single piece of it - for her it's something to be enjoyed to the fullest! She's all set for the event.
